The bridesmaid dresses is the first thing that comes to a woman’s head when she is asked to be an attendant at a wedding. Horror stories about ugly gowns floating around have been told, and the problem is most of them are true. The gowns designed in the 1980’s were awful. But still, the bridal attendants should be careful, because there are still a lot of ugly bridesmaid dresses out there.
Because I am the maid of honor of a very good friend’s wedding, we visited a random bridal store to try out our gowns. She chose in advance a few bridesmaid and a few bridal gowns. Choosing the styles that you like ahead of time can be done with the help of the internet. The bride’s good taste impressed me when I tired on the three bridesmaid dresses that she picked for me. I thought my heart stopped when she told me that she wanted the bridesmaids to wear pink strapless gowns, because I originally imagined a shocking pink, with form-fitting dress what would accentuate my every flaw. What I have tried on were three lovely bridesmaid dresses. |
